Service and feeder sizing

Size a service or feeder from a calculated load and justify conductor and OCPD selection.

Take a calculated load through to conductor and overcurrent device selection.

1. Enter the calculated load and system voltage.
2. Apply ambient temperature and conductor bundling conditions.
3. Record the conductor size before and after those adjustments.

Describe an installation condition that would force you to upsize conductors even though the load did not change.
