Busway / Bus Duct Insulation & Connection Test Report Field Report

Insulation-resistance & connection-resistance field test worksheet

Project Information
Report Basis
Acceptance testing applies to new equipment prior to energization; maintenance testing applies to in-service equipment. The insulation acceptance basis, test parameters, and reference documents are recorded on the Nameplate & Setup tab.
Disclaimer: Final acceptance is subject to manufacturer instructions, project specifications, applicable NETA/NEC requirements, and AHJ/qualified-person review. Computed pass/fail/investigate results in this worksheet are aids only and do not by themselves constitute acceptance. This tool does not reproduce proprietary NETA tables; acceptance minimums must be supplied by the user, OEM, or project specification.

Safety / Pre-Test Checklist

All items must be verified by a qualified person before insulation-resistance or connection-resistance testing. High-voltage DC is applied during IR testing — the bus must be de-energized, isolated, grounded after testing, and cleared of connected loads/electronics as required.

Bus Section Visual Map

Map labels are matched (case-insensitive) to test-section names and to each connection's From/To/Bus-Section fields to color sections and the connectors between them.
